Online Library system is a collection of high – tech electronic digital format of all types of books and texts, movies, music, video, etc. which can be distributed all over the world via internet.
The Myanmar e-Library is led to develop by the Union of Solidarity and Development Association, Ministry of Communication, Post & Telegraph and Ministry of Education in January 2007. This is the fist National Online Library System in Myanmar.
The Myanmar e-Library features all rare books, newspapers, journals, historic pay and parabike, international books, school syllabus, text books and encyclopedia from the libraries of 38 Colleges and Universities around Myanmar, in digital format.
In addition, the Myanmar e-Library is best serve to those who seek wider knowledge, as it gives several links to other library systems, and also can read latest editions and historic books in real time.
